Dial the yard and Wade picks up, or one of the crew who spent the day on a truck does — no menu, no distant call center working off a script. Walk us through wherever the move turns tricky — a freight elevator and a building COI at a downtown Anchorage high-rise, a third-floor walk-up off Muldoon, a JBER base gate pass, an iced-over Hillside driveway — and we have the whole day planned before your date lands.
We count it room by room, fold the wardrobe boxes, pads, dollies and shrink-wrap into one figure, and hand it to you on paper first — so the number the crew bills on move day is the number you already signed off on. Nothing tacked on at the curb, nothing routed through a broker.
Turn the kitchen over to our packers for dish barrels, let the closets ride across still on their hangers in wardrobe cartons, or just flag the mirrors, TVs and glass tops so we cut a fitted crate for each one before it goes on the truck. How much we pack is your call, start to finish.
The crew chief who walks your rooms at the estimate is the same one at the wheel and doing the last walk-through with you — a Spenard bungalow, an Eagle River cabin, a downtown condo looking out over Cook Inlet — so the job never gets handed off partway through.
Sand Lake is a settled West Anchorage neighborhood, three- and four-bedroom homes on the streets ringing the lake and the floatplane base. These are full-house loads, so Brant reads the room count up front and staffs the day to finish a big home in one go.
“Great service. Followed instructions very well. Went above and beyond. Very clean, organized and smooth. Worked efficiently and was a pleasure to work with. I high recommend these movers. I own a moving company myself and these guys really impressed me.”
“The movers arrived exactly on time. Very pleasant and courteous. They went over exactly what I needed and handled my property with the utmost care. Price was the best of 10 quotes I searched. Will definitely recommend and use again.”
“I've used their service multiple times and have always been pleased. Most recently, they moved some furniture from the first floor to the second floor, and hauled off some items from the second floor. Friendly, polite and professional.”
Our part: Tell us the room count, whether it is a straight carry to the truck or a haul through a downtown elevator, and how the driveway, gate or base entrance is laid out — and a written figure is generally in your inbox before the office shuts for the evening.
Your part: Pin down your two hard dates — the move-out and the move-in — along with any building, garage, or JBER gate codes; those are what let us swap a rough guess for a locked figure.
Our part: We hold the freight elevator at a downtown high-rise, sort out driveway and street parking, file whatever certificate of insurance the HOA or building office asks for, and clear base passes and Hillside gate codes ahead of time — so the truck reaches the door instead of the crew hauling a dresser across a lot.
Your part: Let us know your last day in the old place and your first day in the new one, then flag whichever of those dates is truly fixed.
Our part: Couches and dressers disappear under moving blankets and a wrap of stretch film, and any hardware that comes off a bed frame or table gets bagged and taped right to the piece it belongs to — so nothing walks off between homes.
Your part: Write the destination room on the boxes you pack yourself, and keep the keys, the paperwork and anything small and valuable with you in the car, never on the load.
Our part: The same team that packed the truck is the one emptying it — every item set down right where you point, bed frames reassembled, and all the leftover blankets and tape cleared out on our way.
Your part: Before the truck pulls off, do a final pass through the emptied rooms alongside the lead mover, so any small fix can still happen while we’re there.
Tell us the size of the place, the date you’re targeting, and roughly what’s coming with you, and a written estimate comes back the same day. You owe nothing up front and we hold no deposit — just a number dependable enough to lock in every piece of the move.
Send it in on a weekday and you’ll usually hear back inside the hour.
